Oh, hey you! How are ya?

All is great over here. This Summer has literally flown by and thereโ€™s lots happening (which to be fair is kinda weird after 1.5 years with very little going on)

I wanted to share a fun little post with some book suggestions in honour of National Book Lovers Day which was yesterday!๐Ÿ“š

I always love finding inspiration for new books on Instagram + blogs and thought maybe you do too?

Sometimes I am just really in the mood for something fun, light, and just a book that will make me feel good. I definitely am a huge lover of fiction too but also really love a general happy/feel-good pick!

Here are some great books I recommend if you want to feel inspired, cozy, warm, capable, and excited:

โœจThe Little Book Of Hygge by Meik Wiking - This is one I will always recommend because it kinda changed my life! As Summer winds down and we get closer to a new season. Itโ€™s time to start learning about how to get your hygge on.

โœจNothing Much Happens by Kathryn Nicoli - My brother got this for me for Christmas and I fell in love with both the book and podcast by Kathryn. She is so calming, soothing, and exactly what you need if youโ€™re feeling a bit overwhelmed or anxious.

โœจBig Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert - I was quite late to the party on this one but I really liked it! It was just what I needed and it actually really inspired me to just kinda go for it. I loved hearing about Elizabethโ€™s view on life and love, success, etc!

โœจUntamed by Glennon Doyle - This feels like a no-brainer and one loved by many. I just feel like every woman specifically needs to read this book. Itโ€™s quick, easy, inspiring, and a great reminder that we can do hard things.

โœจWork Party by Jaclyn Johnson - I loved this one because I tend to nerd out to all things work/career-related as they related to peopleโ€™s journey to find success through their work. I loved hearing about Jaclynโ€™s journey and found this to be a quick and lovely read.

โœจJoyful by Ingrid Fetel-Lee - I am such a huge fan of Ingrid. She is my kinda person! She is an advocate for joy, love, and happiness and spreads it through her entire brand which I adore. Joyful is SUCH a cool book that dives into how certain experiences, moments, and things in our life bring us joy and why!

Have you read any of these books?! I am excited to share my cozy fall picks with you in September too! ๐Ÿ‚
